Bring on the new year.

Wow, what a whirlwind this Christmas was!
I barely saw my house in the month of December, and when I was home I still couldn't see my house under all of the stuff it was filled with!  It was a great time filled with family, friends, and exciting experiences, but I'm kind of glad it's over!  I finally feel recovered after having spent all day yesterday whipping this place into shape, and organizing myself for the new year.

I have great intentions.
Waking up each morning early enough to get in a run, devotions, and coffee all before miss Bayla wakes up (shouldn't be too hard, considering she sleeps until 9 am!)

I am striving to surround myself with inspiration,
so that I may exude some on others.   Better myself so that it starts a trend with the ones I love.  In my experience new year's resolutions don't usually last very long, but I can't help but set some.  One of my top priorities this year is to complete MY family projects and compile the tons of photos and videos that are still merely computer files.
Hopefully I will be more diligent about keeping up with the documentation of 2012 as it is happening, because my little girl is starting to not be so little anymore!

Some photos from our Christmas:

Bay on her new tricycle from Yia-Yia and Papou- she looks like her older cousin Josie in this picture!

Her one big gift from Mommy and Daddy!

Much to my relief, she actually plays with this!  And doesn't make too much of a mess either!

Bayla's first time up to the alter for the children's message- excuse the binky, our Christmas Eve service started at 9pm!

Me and my little sister, so glad she was there <3

Family Christmas Eve photo with one uncooperative/tired little girl!

Bayla tucking in baby Jesus

Aunt Cheecha chased her around long enough for me to snap this 1 picture!

Hope you had a blessed Christmas,
 Happy New Year to you!
